[Inspiration] St. Patrick's Day Drinks

In honor of the upcoming Irish holiday, we have rounded up a few of our favorite green-hued St. Patrick's Day drinks. Some of these would be pretty awesome on other days, not just St. Patrick's day, so don't feel limited by the holiday designation. It's always 5 o'clock somewhere, right?

Green Apple Ginger Martini

I love the addition of ginger to this martini recipe. It adds a little "zing" that is awesome. And drinking something that is not neon green is always a plus. (If the color is not natural, I shy away from ingesting it.) So this martini wins all around with its gorgeous hue and inventive taste.

Lucky Charms Milkshakes with Marshmallow Frosting

I have never been a fan of Lucky Charms cereal myself (sacrilegious, I know), but I can't deny how awesome they look on this drink. Plus, all of the other components of this drink are delicious.

I also love that you can easily make this a non-alcoholic drink that is appropriate for kids. Imagine this at a green-themed kids party, or just as a very special snack. How fun!!

Kiwi Margaritas

I love kiwis and I love margaritas, so this cocktail is a no-brainer for me. I can't tell you how happy I was to find a cocktail that used kiwi. I feel it's an underutilized fruit that is delicious and beautiful, but I'll keep my thoughts about that to myself since I'm sure you're not interested in my musings on kiwis.

I love this cocktail for a plethora of events -- not just for St. Patrick's Day. I'm thinking pool parties, summer BBQs, a Mexican fiesta, etc. It's a total multi-purpose cocktail.
